The Ruby Hill Giving Thanks Charity
Committee has been very fortunate in working with so many local organizations
that have made such a tremendous impact on the lives of children and families
in the Tri-Valley community.
ValleyCare Medical Center – Emergency Room Expansion Project: ValleyCare Foundation is dedicated to keeping quality health care available to all of us in the Tri-Valley. Funds raised this year will be dedicated to ValleyCare’s Emergency Room Renovation, a $7.8 million project funded by ValleyCare Foundation, Alameda County and the generous support of the community. From 1991 to 2005, the number of emergency room visits at ValleyCare has more than doubled from 13,000 to 30,000 annually. Approximately 11% of these visits serve non-insured charitable cases. The renovation project will expand and update the ER facility and is vital for the continued delivery of state of the art health care in our community. |
